  3. Aligning the Instrument

  5. The patient's eye level should be at the 
  6. level with the pointer on the side of the 
  7. instrument. To do this the instrument is 
  8. moved to one side by using the joystick 
  9. so the examiner can sight along side the 
  10. instrument, aligning the pointer with the 
  11. center of the patient's eye.  See next 
  12. screen to adjust height.  Be sure to 
  13. loosen the base lock to allow the 
  14. intrument to be moved.
